Skip and Herb are joined by the rest of the Quimper cast as they spend an evening waiting for Mr. Quimper to take them home after their church Harvest Festival. While waiting in front of a scary old house, the other children (each wearing funny costumes) add to the hysteria by telling Skip and Herb stories about the creepy old house. In the end Skip and Herb learn how they can turn to God whenever they are afraid.
